Requesting moar anime mods Thread

i have noticed a severe lack of anime mods for the source engine and unreal tournament. this annoys me as an extreme fan of the anime genre, especially as i dont know anything about modding so i cant do it for myself. if anyone is to do an anime mod, i am going to reccommend they base it (if it is going to be based on something) on a gainax anime, as they tend to have a lot of action in them.

I think your best bet would be to form an idea yourself (based off any of these shows you like) and try find team members with skill sets you require...
Probably not going to get very far by saying your annoyed that people don't make exactly what you want.
Best of luck getting more anime mods i suppose... i think warcraft3 had a few that my friends used to lan, namely the awesomely named 'anime fight'.

First, look out for the new version of Obsidien Conflict for HL2. It will be on steam eventually they say. The dev team are huge anime fanboys and it has alot of anime themed content, but...

What is 'anime themed'? If you mean "school girls running around showing their knickers" then it's no suprise there aren't any. If you mean mecha and cyber punk, then NeoTokyo already exsists. However, 'Anime' can be anything. Sci-fi, horror, comedy. Asking for an anime mod is like asking for "A fps mod!" it just doesn't make sence.

I'm a geek - I love computers, games and game development, science-fiction, theoretical physics, and I'm brilliant, socially handicapped and I wear glasses.
