Hello IndieDB, my name is Frederik alias FrecoDev and I'm the project manager for a new project called "Sentinels of Sensetia".

First a little about our studio, Newlink Studio.

NS is a recently formed Indie-game development team. Our current employee number is 7, and this is a number we would like to see rising after this post. Until kickstarter or launch of smaller side-projects, every work done for NS will be performed for free. When we see a profit on behalf of NS contracts will be written and everyone involved will be notified.

All contact between the members of NS is currently done though a Skype chat room, where employees comes with daily updates aswell as questions. It is also a room for discussion. File-sharing happens on google drive and code on Bitbucket + Sourcetree.

Now, the game.

SoS is a multiplayer RPG based around the elements of the fantasy world Sensetia. In this fantastic world you will interact with many amazing creatures, pure aswell as corrupted by the now evil fairy Meave.

> Pets: Some can be tamed and used in battle, often to increase stats, defense or abilities

What do we need? The answer is every helping hand we can find, but for good sake I made a basic list:

For the programmers, as mentioned, we're using Unity as engine and are working to get the networking up running using uLink.

As a footnote, we are working on a website which will represent ourselves and the project aswell. This site is set to be launched mid-january.

Hello Frederik,
I am very interested in this project, but had some questions regarding the recruitment.
What sort of qualifications do you seek in an applicant? Specifically designers and writers.
I'm no extensively educated writer but I hold a fervorous passion in design and script/ screenwriting nonetheless.
After reading about the game I have a great interest in the project and would love to contribute in any way.

@Nappzy Hello Noah,

As many of the involved in our project is lesser-experienced, we asks for results more than we ask for employees experience. We're still in a stage where salary haven't been involved yet, which gives us the opportunity to get people into the project without attaching too many strings.

For a MMO game the story is extremely important and it has to be clever and well written. As organizer I have chosen to split the different tasks of the game of in design elements. Setting a group of people to have 100% of their focus on one topic (lets say dungeons) is an incredible advantage, since it will result in the given members to give all they have to make this perfect. By designing it I simply mean to create it in your mind and on paper. Get it to a stage where programmers and artists can look at it and from there know what to do.
