man farcry rocks hard but alot more could be done. how about a rambo mod relive parts of the flim. hide in the mud so you can't be seen. make traps like falling trees. also adding body damage far cry is lacking realism. when you shoot somebody in the face it should be disfigured. stuff like yelling when they been shot in the Nuts hehe. looking for texturer, mappers, coders, modelers and skin makers. any help really - Edited By boomerx On Thu 25th, Mar 2004 @ 3:39:42pm |

how so ? EDIT: ill be more specific.. does it come with a compiler for source of engine and reg code? in dll or something? i dunno but i highly doubt it.. if you mean sounds and models then it is not a true "mod" in my eyes. althoughh all that is needed for a modification is something within the original game to be modified a bit.. - Edited By carni On Thu 25th, Mar 2004 @ 3:39:01pm |

There is no source to compile, it's all script based, like Treadmarks, Tribes and Duke Nukem 3d. -- < insert subject games here >

Editor: Sandbox. Great app--allows in-editor testing of the level, among other nice things like brush-based terrain creation and things I'm not familiar with. Mods are definitely possible and some are already in development. But a Rambo mod? GOD, come up with something ORIGINAL. |
