I am a young programmer looking for a spot on an indie team. I don't have a portfolio because most of my projects don't work out, but I specialize in Java and am pretty good with C++. Preferably I would like to use Java. I would like to be paid if possible, but I will work for free. If the game accepts donations, or costs a price I would also like to be paid fairly for the amount of work I do. Please PM me or reply to this thread if you are interested.

What are your feelings on UDK -- from what I know, it has a great deal in common with C++. I'm part of a two man team aiming to make a small UDK competitive multiplayer game. Both of us are already well versed in other fields (I handle game design and level design, while he handles 3D modelling, animation, UDK level making, and Kismet scripting). We're presently in a holding pattern due to not having a programmer, and I'll soon be done with school, so we're ready and willing to work on the project, it's merely a matter of being held back due to the obvious hole in our development team.

If you're at all interested, Skype me -- davidb3971
