Please Help With Goofy Half Life! Thread

i downloaded goofy half life beta 2 and unzipped it into my documents. then i went to the folder and it looks like any other half life folder, only problem is theres no way to launch the game. does it run on the old half life, or steam. is beta 2 only an update to 1.5 or a whole new thing.
someone please help me with how to launch the game. i need some good instructions on how to launch it wether its non steam or steam. thank you!

unzip the goofy half life folder to the half-life/goofyhalflife (or something like that) directory, and then run the half-life normally, enter the custom game menu and select goofy half life from the menu...

half-lie is most likely stored in

c:\sierra\half-life\

unzip the goofy HL folder into there

then run half-life

goto custom games

and select goofy HL

ok i unzipped it to sierra/halflife
now when i go to open half life, it opens steam..... i cant get it to open the old half life. it just opens steam. im stuck. please help

Erm, go into your Sierra/Half-Life directory and click hl.exe....
