Oposing Force : Combine Looking For Team Members! Thread

After shepards long rest, Its time for him to come back to life.. With his skills well shown in Black Mesa he has been recruited to join the combine forces to help capture
Gordon Freeman. In this modificaition you will take the place of Adrian Shepard a retired marine who helped in the Black Mesa incident. Your role will be to lead combine forces in aid to capture Freeman and kill off rebel forces. It will follow the same half-life 2 storyline right up till the last second.

You will be able to use various weapons including the basic combine weapons and maybe a few extras? You will also be able to see what its like to be a real combine doing his dutys. We will try to keep it as real as it is to the Half-Life 2 story and are always open to suggestions.

Thats the basic storyline and it is still under work.. We are currently in need of the following..

Concept Artists
Modelers/Animators
Coders
Expierienced Mappers (as we will have to remake the hl2 story)
Website Designer

I will be mapping leading up the project and handling website/announcement issues and other various tasks.

By the way I know valve is making an Oposing Force in the future most likley, But it probally wont be about shepard/on the same storyline.

good luck....post the storyline asap or I find your effort getting staff hard.

That is the basic storyline of Adrian Shepard (from half life one) returning in the combine forces to chase down freeman along the way you team up wiht your fellow combine expierience what it is like to be a combine and we are going to stick as close as we can to the half-life 2 story.

Shepard was taken with the G-Man in the same way that Gordon Freeman was.

If your story doesn't explain how the combine was able to snatch him from the suspesion the G-Man put on Freeman, it's dead before it even starts.

Remember, the G-Man and the Combine are not affiliated.

Playing Adrian Shephard along side the combine wouldn't make sense, he is hired by the G-Man, so surely is against the combine and with Freeman. Do some research and think a lot more about the mod before posting about recruitment. I mean for crying out loud, you should have the storyline done first before asking for mappers and coders!

Anyway, if Shepard is trapped on Xen, and the Combine have been kicked off Xen and are invading Earth, how exactly do they propose to find Shepard?

well, if i can be anmy help, forget about sheperd! play the role as a different combine character! i mean, the basic "opposing forces" idea is still there, you play the team that you were against in the original.

Yeah the new storyline you will just be some high up combine elite soldier and adrian shepard is for valve to make hehe , anyways we are still looking for members if anyone can help out in any way just let me know
