Hl1 Nerf mod anyone?

I've already done a nerf mod some 3 years ago

one for hl1 with actual nerf guns, cool levels, cool player models. red vs blue, choice of 3 characters. every characters starts off with a nerf pistol, then u can get different nerf guns throughout the map and even modified ones that shoot rapid fire (co2 tanks).

what the hell is "nerf"

little toy guns that shoot darts. and some shoot these green ping pong balls..

There was an actual Nerf game a while back called Nerf Arena Blast using the unreal engine I beleive. It wasn't that great

Well what are some ideas for the players?? like little kids or what?

no lol I have like 5 from when I was 8 or 9 I made one shoot thumbtacks and I shoot my friends with it lol... it dosent hurt that bad :/

LOL I have that. It's like what Chex Quest would do to Unreal Tournament.

That UT GL driver doesn't work with it though so it went quite slow and the mipmaps were ugly

little kids to teenagers, probly throw in a couple of random characters (beavis and butthead)

Yeah, you could make it really addictive. Tree Fort Wars used little kids for their game, and it was really fun and addictive to play, and that's why it got a high placement at the Independent Games Festival (#9).

Maybe you'll be able to do the same thing, but I suggest going with some other engine then Half-Life 1 so you can make the environments big and interesting

My mate has a nerf gun that fires 10 darts a second, great fun. Sounds like a fun mod.
