I need serious Investors for this project.Project Codename: Twilight Of StarsType: Mass Online RPG-FPS game (M.O.R.F)Project Game Features:- CryEngine 3. DX10-11 only- Random generated Events.- Unrestricted Galaxy size.- Online part with 128 Vs 128 Players (PvP, 2-4 Ships, Ranked players from crew to kaptains) - Offline part with bots.- Space sieges, Space Battles, Mann to Mann ranged combat and close combat.- Dynamical changing Environments, focus on realistic damage and focus on the small details.- Game-play similar to Battlefield, Mass Effect, X3, Orion, Crysis, and Battlefront. - No scripted Events, everything that happens to you are Random.- Class and XP focus, build colonies to get Income or swear allegiance with a Race. - Customization of everything possible. Including a Editor for the game and a Random galaxy generator with 100+ options.- Will satisfy both the younger mass and the more Stargate or Star Trek fan-bases. When those serious investors come through with the money, I'd be willing to lead it. I'd require a salary of no less than £70k a year, given the technical challenges and general level of project risk, and I'd require evidence that the funding is sufficient to cover me, a team of no less than 100 developers, suitable premises for an office and all necessary licences, personal computers and servers for a minimum period of four years.

I'm fine to forego royalties, as there probably won't be any.

That just sounds like you've taken a list of games and smashed them into one. I dont think your going to get anywhere with this idea if im honest. What would be your role on this team?

feather240 im not even sure how you came to the conclusion that this is a CoD clone when it apparantly involves 'features' such as space combat and colony building.

Game Concept I Do :P ( I'm a Norwegian SCI-FI writer) money is not a big problem. The problem is that I do not want to take all the risk by myself. and want to attract investors. I would like it to become a Mod for Crysis 2 first. Serious fans and skilled MODDERS are preferable members. As I'm not a management type I would like a skilled management Modder to take that job and the responsibilities on leading the mod development.-Example- of my concept skill:There was a time when humanity explored the stars. A time of global changes that forced mankind to explore the final frontier. The USS Nemesis was on a survey mission in the Alpha Cloud when mankind suddenly lost all contact with the Military Exploration Cruiser. Class: Nemesis.Sometimes rumors, are rumors and sometimes they are true. One rumor is that a wormhole sucked them into the Andromeda Galaxy. The rescue crew has no clue where to look. The multi-player part includes coop story and will rely heavily on cooperation. you will be trapped on the same ship. But it could ease you command. other thing is that you can go On-line and play with thousand of other players in the same universe. Between the two massive galaxies.Are you doubtful? Are you afraid of the darkness? Do you not like blood? Do you not like safety? then do not play the game. Becouse aliens tends to be realy nasty things.

Edit: Every star or system that does not include a mission or story process. Will have random logical preferences. This would be achieved with a dynamical world generator.Estimation is that the game itself would be too large for game consoles.

Edit 5: To my Master: Gibberstein: It is not about the money of creation, it is about the people that make the game.it is not the money that make a game fun, it its the people that stand behind it. Example MineCraft was made without much, still, millions play it.

Except that Minecraft is extremely simple concept executed well with tons of "free form" content added little by little...

Your plan / idea is good, I like it, but its impossible for a small team to make. And even for a large dedicated team (30+ fulltime workers) it would take years to implement even in mediocre quality. Star Trek Online, probably closest to your idea, took 6 years to make by two companies (one of them went bankrupt), finished by studio with 100-200 people. Now, even if you paid them minimum wage you'd need to be millionare to even consider this idea seriously.

If you went with "random unpaid people"... well, it would be impossible.

Well there is one big difference. My idea will start out as a Mod For Crysis 2. Running, CryEngine 3 Non-profitt.The Quality does not need to be perfect or to be a big game. Development of a limited Zone should not take forever and show the basics of my idea.

Edit: Basically two ships in empty space in ship to ship combat. like a mini-game. Should be achievable for unpaid people with some skills.

Edit 2: Just like a space battle scene from a famous TV-show. Example Use Stargate Universe's Destiny as ship model for the Mod version.

Edit 3: If the big companies get interested in the mod, you may get you pay you ask for.I would not ask for anything more than to see a good game bloom.

Gaming is culture.

Here is what I would like to see done. Based on the CryEngine 3 engine that Should allow us much freedom and creativity. "www0youtube0com/watch?v=fSIpQHwxkvA&hd=1"Space Battle Example. "Remove the "0" and replace them with "." (I have not been registered long enough for URL links)

*Bump* Is there someone who wants to help me out? If so send me a PM.It would be heavily appreciated any help you can offer. I will organize the development into Cells. One for each aspect of the game. "Engine" Sounds"GFX"Scripts"Mapping" and so on. So you do only need to concentrate on your own thing and need not worry about the other things.
