My mod idea Thread

This is the mod idea of a mod I'm doing right now. I just wanna hear what people thinks about it and should I write a design document that is at least 10 pages long.

Ok, here goes:

The game is set up in a parallel dimension. This dimension does not have any humans in it(probably because I can't model any human faces right). So player is some humanoid. Player is a clone made by the Sci-Tex Co. Sci-Tex Co. is evil. Player has done something wrong and they have put him/her into a detention cell.

Here's where the game starts. Suddenly the lights go off and alarms start to yell and detention cell forcefields are down. So, player is going to escape from this evil place. First we need some clothes on... it's cold in this old complex.

What is Sci-Tex Co. then and what makes it evil? Sci-Tex Co. has invented a virus that makes every thing go mad and kill others. Virus got unleashed on the big complex... Most Sci-Tex Co. personnel have been infected and become extremely hostile. Creatures (and some mutants?) that they were using for tests, run amok around the complex causing havoc and disaster.

So, this mod's main idea is the typical world saving idea, but whatever, I like saving the world idea.

Player needs to escape from the complex and while escaping, kill the aggressive creatures and Sci-Tex Co. personnel, shut down some stuff/destroy the complex and virus, possibly finding a scientist who can make an anti-virus.

Ok, I think that's the mod idea in a nut shell.

Cool! I wanted to play System Shock2 since I read the review, but it didn't work on my computer when it was released. And now... well, it doesn't work now either I've only seen a screenshot...

System Shock 2 never ceased to work for me even on the p100

I'm sure that my hardware can run it now, but I think my operating system is hostile for System Shock 2.
