My 500th post!!! Thread

WHoopee for me, I have 500 posts!

Nothing to get excited about, I know.

But still, 500 posts! But no beer for me, I'm not 21.

These post threads are getting out of hand. Soon, people will have posts for every hundreds of posts they have.

Good for you, but you should have waited until 1000 until you would think of making a thread about it. No offense, but this thread is pointless

Notice I haven't posted anything about 100, 200, 300, or 400 posts Karuto, and I definitely have seen people do that. And second of all, don't be telling me off... I've been a member of this site quite a while longer than you!
Oh yeah, another thing: Looking down the list, I don't see one other '# Posts!' thread.

I'm not telling you off, I just think it's silly that people do this kind of stuff. No other forum that I've been a part of makes a thread to congratulate themselves for posting. lol

They're just disguised with other, more psychotic names, like "ph34r my caek fish!" and the like.

Well, there was a lot less traffic back then, so they weren't as disruptive. I'm pretty sure the general unspoken convention around here is if you really want, go ahead and post an n thousand thread now and then, but even that tends to drop away with some at the higher numbers (preferring to wait for intervals of five thousand etc...).

Either way, congratulations, and shut the hell up!
