Hello, everyone! My name is Nicholas Capsimalis and I am a electroacoustic audio producer operating under the pseudonym, Hundred Days Music. I am a self-employed composer of all forms of music from Blues and Jazz to Classical, Neo-Classical and even experimental musique concrete. I have been looking to work on any gaming project for awhile now, as I understand the technical and artistic challenges of doing so and relish the chance to expand my skills. I have produced music for various small productions and have been looking to get into the games industry for some time now. As for accomplishments, I have: - Publicly published 13 finished works, as well as a dozen utility sound design assets that are not strictly for listening purposes. These do not include prototypes and failed experiments that I either never posted or posted and retracted. The total number of pieces I've written is closer to three dozen. - A professional understanding of wave-form analysis and general audio design. I pride myself on my completely home-made sound assets that I record personally and edit with my own suite. - Attended Oberlin Conservatory's TIMARA summer program two years ago, and Interlochen Center for the Arts composer program this past summer. - Written pieces for small film producers as well as a 8-part SATB choir piece for my school's choir, which they performed in concert. - Extensive knowledge of narrative design, both in music and literature, and a deep understanding of human psychology. Was offered an internship at a neurological institute for the study of music and its effects, but, sadly, the group shut down before I started. You can view the full body of my works on my SoundCloud, or YouTube (still a bit behind my SC). Or, alternately, you can google "Nicholas Capsimalis" or "Hundred Days Music" and either will return relevant links in the top results: If you have any questions about my capabilities or my willingness to assist, you can reply below or contact me at either hundred.days.music@gmail.com or nicholas.capsimali@gmail.com . Either works. Thanks again for taking the time and I would love to hear back from you as soon as possible. Thanks! - Nicholas Capsimalis Also willing to assist in any literary writing/voice acting/plot detailing/character analysis/other narrative design positions. I'm a storyteller. Mostly I tell through music, but I love it all. So don't be shy to ask that of me as well. Edited by: NichyC -- I like music. You like music. Everyone likes music. I like writing. You like writing. Let's be honest, not everyone likes writing. |
