When you register a mod, you're asked to categorize it according to gameplay style, type, etc. The registration form should also contain a field labelled "Based directly on an existing franchise", with "yes" and "no" as the only options. Examples:

I think that is quite a good idea, so then people could find DBZ or Lego or Matrix etc. mods easily |

Very good idea, it'll be great for all those "WHERE ARE THE DBZ MODS" kind of people Hopefully it gets implemented soon. ^_^ |

good idea but it isn't needed and nor would it help with the searching. i mean its pretty obvious if a mod is based on an existing franchise hence the data is virtually redundant. -- Scott Reismanis |
