Moddb Tribes Match Thread

Okay, since Tribes 1 & 2 have just been released for free, ready to download on Gamespy, I propose a Tribes 1 tourny tonight at:
9:00 pm (Central Time)
10:00pm (Eastern Time)

do the other conversions your self, comments?

make your own skins too

I love tribes 2. though i;d prefer to play con mod con mod.

I love tribes 1, prefer it over 2 any given day, ill be there for sure. We could play HavoK or Meltdown!

i never played tribes 1.

Well get Tribes1, its pwnage over Tribes2.

Tribes2 is just clunkier and slower, and made me yawn a coupla times, also they ridded jump jetpacking in it >;( BASTAGES

Never played tribes 1, so i'll have to brush up on my skills. wish i could make it. i like rpg better than fps, anyway.

i prefer tribes 2 over 1

T1 has better, faster maps, T2 has slow clunky gameplay and it's emphasis is on graphics, also there's a serial key system you'll have to deal with

I did make a Tribes mod a long time ago however, but it crashes alot now since i't sbased on the v1.1 script source.

Stick with tribes 1, tribes2 has heavy system requirements, you won't like it

tribes 2 is on fragfiles.org with no wait time

But tribes 2 is puer PISH, it's 4x as big, and i'm not gonna play it

Also loads quite long too

I'll be able to play Tribes 1 if it will run on Celeron 400 MHZ / Riva TNT2 32 MB.
