moddb offficial game servers Thread

how about moddb have offical game server and in like half life 2 dm, call of duty or maby havy a server for mading in these game and that is a nother way to get pweople to come to this site and u can have contest on them if youwanted to

weve tried that and no one joined!

i would join othere games like COD, COD uo and even there mods and HL and there mods same with hl2 and bf2 and BIA:RTH30, and quake 3 and and battlefeild vetimum

but what ever you chouse and when did you have the server up

i'd join if i had the game

There is already plenty of game servers out and about already. Most of the time I look for a server, the majority are empty.

i wouldnt know since i filter out all the empty ones

but a moddb one may boost the pop of this site

actually I don't think so. Most people join servers to play games, not to be inspired to visit some websites. also, many online gamers don't have a clue about mods, they just play the game they bought until the fun fades away and that's it. Sad, but true.

it dont even hav to be a moddb official game server. the community could host a server in support of moddb

you could inspire people to visit your site. say if you had a cs server, you put up one of those images that people see when they join a server, advertising popular HL2 mods, contests, exclusive content, w/e that gamers want, through moddb.

That might be possible, but there are many servers out there who do this. Most of the time, I don't even bother reading whatever it says, I just don't caer about it. I think many people think the same way. Nobody pays attention to this because it's normal for most gamers.
