Seems it has been quite some time since anyone posted in here! Anyhow the purpose of this post is to guage everyones thoughts of the first ever flash advertising campaign run on the Mod DB. I am sure everyone has seen the Game'N'Game World Championship banners running as shown below:

My questions for everyone are, who checked out these banners, who is participating in this comp, who thinks they looked great?

Everything we do on this site we try and do better and differently from other sites so please, share your thoughts - provide feedback, have your say! We're listening :)

They surely catch your eye, and are a lot more exciting than the blank graphics that are annoying and have nothing to do with games. :P

So long as the computers can run them, I have no problem with the flash ads.

The general concensenous and my opinion is that good ads add to a sites look and appeal and that is what we are striving to do.

More and more we will try and engage relevant mod-related ads for the community and try to move away from the google ads which are seemingly plastered on every single internet site we visit these days!

well compared to other mod sites that have fart buttons, emoticons and ring tone ads.
these are fine.

moddb has always been minimal with advertising which i think evey one will agree is a good thing
