I've developed a script for Autodesk Maya that improves the standard UV Texture Editor by adding extended functionality such as "Orient UV shells", "Stack UV shells", "Calculate pixel distance between UVs" and much more. Also implemented is a UV set editor, an advanced UV manipulator and a texel density (TD) control. The idea behind it has always been to improve my own (and now others) workflow during the UV unwrapping/layouting process. Check it out: Latest version can always be found at Creative Crash: You can post comments/requests and bugs in this thread if you want. Edited by: Nightshade |
