welcome comic fans its the fight with the super hero's

we have marvel with is getting more better and popoluar then before with all the marvel movies and great charaters like ironman, spider man, the hulk and VENOM!!!!

from DC we have those cheesy batman shows, movies and superman with batman there but they new movies aren't really good.

and we have dark horse with hellboy and the best and onlt ALIENS VS PREDATOR comics along with them being separte to just ALIENS comics and PREDATOR comics.

so which one is better and kickass.

for me its marvel only because of everyones favorite venom

so whats your favioite you decide.

honestly each comic is not good because of whom publishes the comic is about the story. Saying one group is better over another based on that alone is a little fanboy of you, each movie/related tv show in my eyes will always be approached from the critic side of me, for instance i enjoyed ironman more then spiderman because the tony was a much more involving character compared to peter.

I have to agree with Henley. For me it isn't who publishes the comic but more the story that I am interested in. Though I have to say that at the moment I do have a preferance for Marvel. I am loving the "Civil War" story arc. But Marvel isn't by any means my fav publisher, that would ave to go to Image. Their "The Walking Dead" series is absolutley superb.

As far as the superhero pantheon is considered for each series on a whole I suppose I'd have to go with Marvel's. DC has some great heroes but not near as many likable ones that Marvel has, plus the characters of Marvel have character flaws that make them all the more interesting. Still, gotta dig Batman and Green Lantern personally (who is supposed to be getting his own movie now).

I find it hard to compare Dark Horse as their series don't tend to intermingle to my knowledge except with the occasional cross-over, but those aren't restricted to publisher (and DC tends to cross with DH and Marvel most it seems). I really like everything DH publishes and the fact that their flagship characters are usually geared for more mature audiences than the titles of the other two publishers.

Off-topic (slightly): I know they only localize it but Blade of the Immortal, which is published by DH, has to be my favorite comic in the world. It's obviously Japanese as it's set in the Japanese Edo era but the art style doesn't lend itself toward any anime style, nor does the story.

I ate the red pill but Morpheus told me it wasn't a chewable so I guess I'm stuck here. Eh.

I think Marvel is Great, it has great charicters, great movies, and comics. DH and DC need to catch up.

But I think Dark Horse has a very good chance, provided by the interesting "Buffy the Vampire Slayer Comics." by Creator Joss Whedon.

DC is doing alright with everything but its getting a bit boring dont u think?

Yes DC are very boring right now, they've fallen back into their old trends. I'm sorta upset with the present state of Archie comics too, Sonic the Hedgehog use to be an awesome comic series but was later screwed over when the entire team was changed to collaborate with Sega Japan now taking over. As a result I haven't seen anything decent come out of that publisher since the 90s.

Did anyone know that Marvel did a Neuromancer comic book? :D I recall DC did the Blade Runner one (or it was marvel and I'm mistaken again) the BR one is a direct rip-off of the film scene for scene, whereas Neuromancer got a bit creative with the storyline- the artist though was a bit bad and was later replaced for the second part of the comic which was never actually released (but can be found on the Net and in the novel "The Ulitmate Cyberpunk" apparently).
