Making of Animated Splash Art Thread

Hey - I recently looked into how to make Splash Art*, so I used some of my old artwork to test it out.

*Splash art is animated art, usually used in loading screens, intro screens or login screens. Such as the League of Legends login screen*

I cut an old image into separate pieces, into PNG files. Afterwards I imported each piece into Maya on imageplanes.
I rigged the character and animated it. Once done I rendered it with Maya Hardware 2.0 and imported it into After Effects for a bit of ghosty effects and to time loop it. I forgot to time loop the smoke, so it unfortunately doesn't run as smooth as the character.
