I am looking to start up a new game but I do not have the knowledge for programming. I am currently trying to learn this process as a hobby but dont have the time to get it done in a timely manner.

So with that said, if you looking to get involved with a project send me a message. All types of help would be greatly appreciated. I am currently working on a RPG storyline. Send me a message if your interested and we will talk more details. Thanks.

If I were younger, dumber and had time to waste, I'd jump on your project.
Unfortunately, I also lack programming knowledge. I understand it in theory, but I don't know how to write my own codes from scratch.
Yes, I know a lot about what it takes to create a game. I have messed with a tiny bit of scripts, designed some levels on Unity and have created silly, incomplete little games with thousands of problems, but I'm not what you're looking for.

I'd suggest purchasing a book on a language you'd like to learn. If you prefer learning online, there's plenty of websites with loads of free classes and tutorials.

I'm actually debating what I should pick up, myself. I have a low-end Toshiba laptop and thinking about trying to learn the LOVE engine. They program using LUA and there's quite a few books on it. Well, I wish you best of luck!

so what is the skillset you are offering, since you say you are not a programmer?

Sounds interesting, but it'll probably be a very, very long process to make a successful game, as you may know. Don't let that stop you, though :)

What kind of RPG are you trying to make? Can you tell us anything about it? I probably don't have time to work on such a project, but if other people do, they'll probably want to know some more details about the game before volunteering.
