Looking to join a mod team as a writer! Thread

Okay, so I don't know any other way to really say it. I want to get into the game industry, and I've been told that some of the best ways to get experience include joining a mod team. I love writing, story design and dialogue, and I'm always willing to pick up new programs and skills.

I also have some familiarity in 2-D animation and video editing, as well as RPGMaker VX Ace. I'm not looking for money at this point; I'm looking for credit and experience.
