Hello everyone! Names David and i am working on a project to make a theme park video game based around the PokePark
from 2005 in japan, it was only up for a year but i had developed such
an attachment to the place that i was devastated when it closed, i was
depressed for a long time and even to this day i get choked up thinking
about it... it's because of this that i decided i would remake the park to scale on
a video game, originally i tried it on minecraft but was not satisfied
with how it looked, i then turned to Second Life but it was very glitchy
and the rides broke a lot so i then turned to Maya and 3DS Max, i would
make the rides on those programs and port them over to a game engine
like Unreal or Unity but i can't do this alone...

I spent a year in college studying 3d modelling so i know how to use
the programs but doing a project this large in my spare time will take
me a year or more... so i was hoping to find help, i can pay but i'm not
rich, if anyone wants to work for free to build up their resume then
that would be great, i'll accept anyone whether they are just starting
out or have worked on a hundred games.

if you need the money then i understand that and we will need to
discuss the payment process, i generally pay for each object and not by
hours, so i would pay for each ride made individually, this tends to be
the safest way of doing things for both parties involved.
i also have no experience with animating the models (i flunked that
class sadly) so an animator and someone who can use a game engine like
unity would be great as well.

Due to the nature of the game we wont be able to charge for it as
pokemon are owned by nintendo and game freak, we may be able to get a
kickstarter if we promise to never charge for the game, i'm not sure
about the legal ramifications of this but it'll help us all pay to live
while we work on the project.
