Hello. I'm looking for a programmer in San Diego who can help me finish the 2D children's educational app that I've been working on for the past couple of months. I've got a good chunk of it done. The loop is there, I can start a game from the main menu, the core mechanic is in and works well except for a bug or two, and I can finish a scene and load to the next scene. I'm probably about 50-60% done with the framework. I can build all of the scenes myself once the functionality is complete. I've got placeholder sound and art for now, and I believe I have a line on securing what I need when it's ready to implement. My main concerns now are: I'm really looking for someone who can kind of mentor me through this, while also providing me some code in the areas I'm stuck and helping me make sure I've built everything in a way that won't come back and bite me. I've been doing tutorials and research for so many months that my head is swimming and I feel I need some guidance. I can provide research on any of the areas I need help with and we can work together on it, but much of the coding is beyond my ability. I'm hoping to find a kind-hearted dev who has released some apps and has the experience to help me. Maybe you have some down time or maybe you've released some things with limited success or maybe you want to beef up your portfolio. I'm sure this giant wall of text sounds like a lot, but I really don't think I would require that much time from someone. It's built 2D c# using Unity 4.6. If you feel comfortable in these areas and have some time, I really could have this out to market in a couple of months. Please message me. I'd prefer someone local so I can meet with them and be sure everything is legit. (i'm sure I'll take some heat for that....) Thanks, |
