Hidden Panda Games is an independent game studio made up of many different people working from their homes around the world. Survivor Zero is a sandbox style survival-horror game set in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse.

Survivor Zero is a survival horror game that puts players in a realistic and diverse setting a few weeks after an epidemic has ripped through humanity. You'll explore massive procedurally generated environments; Scavenge supplies, craft weapons, run, hide, and survive in a desolate world whilst battling the elements, hunger, thirst, and a vicious, undying, and terrifyingly human enemy.The style of the game is realistic, and set in present-day (post-apocalypse) america. To get a better idea of what we're working on, check out our teaser trailer, facebook page, website We've been working hard for around 4 years now with a lot of art assets, a procedurally generated world and basic crafting, but we need some help for the final push to alpha.

3D Artist:

We're looking for a 3D artist who is:

  • Is self-motivated
  • Knows how to model, unwrap and texture
  • Has the ability to produce quality work in a reasonable timeframe
  • Open to constructive criticism
  • Ability to work within a group dynamic

There are no requirements on programs, so please feel free to use what you are comfortable with as long as you can deal with FBX files. The team is currently using Blender, so if you’re also using Blender that would definitely be a plus.

You'll be working with all sorts of stuff - indoor and outdoor props, first-person items, many varying environments, characters/zombies, animals and anything else. We’ll definitely still consider you if you specialise in one field (environments for example), but being an all-rounder, or showing willingness to learn things outside your comfort zone is a huge bonus.

Character Modeler:

Experience is preferred, but a portfolio of good work is all the same to us if you’ve not worked on a similar project before. Working with our artists, you’ll be responsible for creating the denizens of the ruins of the world that was, both living and undead. Experience with Blender is required.

Character Rigger:

We’re looking for character riggers who would like to build a little experience in the games industry to give our models a little more function!
Professional experience is unnecessary, so a couple of examples, a professional attitude, and the availability to talk to our artists is the only thing you’ll need. Experience with Max/Maya is preferred, but let us know if you do something different and we’ll take a look!

Although Hidden Panda Games is a company, this is a volunteer project. If this project makes any money in the future, then it will be fairly distributed, but there is no guarantee of that happening and we'd prefer members who are dedicated to make a game rather than hoping for an eventual payout.‏
