But I suppose it is possible if you got your hands on a bootlegged copy, knew how to really code, and had the development Software and hardware, and a team of dedicated specilests, then it could be possible to "lift out" the 3d sonic sprites out of a GC sonic game, Copy a character in Melee, then transfer the 3d animations to the copyed character.

That would be cool but I think its pretty straight forward to make a sonic model on milkshape.
