I like it, tried the mp patch but it dont work.

Missions are quite simple to, using the force in SP is pretty cool, me=dark side.

I'm not down with all that Star Wars stuff but if it's your thing cool.

I am very excited about this myself (I am active in another Jedi Knight community) however I can't help but feel a little apprehensive (it feels as though this is edging towards a "mission pack" type game, rather than full blown sequel). There are no real tech developments with this release. One of the most touted things in Jedi Knight 2 was Gill Gribb's Ghoul2 skeletal system I doubt that system will be dramatically overhauled, the same for similar enhancements introduced to Jedi Knight II. It would've been nice to see the LOD geometric scaling being brough up to a truely dynamic level though. Still, there are some rather impressive gameplay elements being introduced, and I'm still very much looking forward to what looks like another winner :-)

It seems alot crisper than JK2 and the models seem ten fold better aside from the faces which seem to have taken a 'photo plastered on rectangle face' approach.

Nice level and enemy design, and the textures just seem crisper, larger and give the game a better Star wars feel.

I'm really dissapointed in this one, not going to get it for it's overhyped "customize your character" feature. I'll stick with JK2; thanks.

No, Jedi Academy has not been released. However, some form has been leaked (close to a final build). You warez monkeys should try to be a little more patient ;-)
