Installing Brazil R/S 1.2.21 with 3ds max 6 Thread

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WTF I DID WRONG

i did everything it told me to do and the splash screen showed up and everything...but those materials say not supported and the render window thing is all f**ked up

try reinstalling, thats my best advice since i know sh*t about this programs go moddb

it wasnt really installed.. just copied and pasted plugins into the plugin folder...whatever the directions said

hmmm.....erase the plugins(those are like add-ons right?) delete the non-functional ones.
but hey don't listen to me i've screwed up my comp more than 300 times due to testing stuff

are you sure that brazil 1.2.21 supports 3dsmax 6 ?

Yep, it was Brazil 1.2.21 R6, i had R5 too but i made sure i didnt use it

Nothing is wrong with your Brazil. If you render it, it still render's properly. It's just a beta bug that doesn't let you view anything other than "brazil chrome, brazil glass" and so forth. I think this thread is old.. but iw as just searching on how to install brazil for max 6. It doesnt work for me =(

Short: Remove the lock on the Material Editor as seen on your Render Scene pic.

Long: Under Rendering->Render (or F10), Common tab, Assign Renderer rollout, deselect the lock next to Material Editor.

I believe the Default Scanline Renderer should be used to view the materials in the Material Editor, but I could be mistaken.
