Indie Game Critics Thread

Got a new team of youtubers out there reviewing and playing indie games. They are called Indie Power Hour!

Check out one of their reviews, in this case of a larger indie game Broken Age haha, but they have respect for all basement programmers!

they play the game on the show as well, so you can be assured everyone will see it and hear what it feels like being played, so check us out, maybe send us a message, but above all else, keep programming hard, and who knows, maybe one of these weeks we'll see one of your games on the show!

Hmm, the review doesn't seem to be very informative and it sounds more like someone trying to sell me the game rather than tell me what is it about this game that is so good.
It goes on and on with things like "This game is so good! If you don't own it you are a loser! By the way, did I mention how good this game is?"

I don't know, I have Total Biscuit for objective and informative reviews.

Sounds like a Valve game review.

I see, so much more informative in future, we can handle that, we try to go for a little light hearted humor and promotion of Indie games really, but I can understand where you are coming from, well next we are doing a game by Alientrap called Capsized, and We will definitely try to be much more about how the game feels and functions.

Recieving Criticism is awesome, we don't get much feedback so its nice to hear things like this PompiPompi, I hope we didn't turn you away completely haha

I prefer to shows people "clear" gameplay without commentary.
I belive gamers are smart and they could rate what they see.

I just watched your video to get to know the game better but you tried to entertain instead.
I do like entertainment like Yatzhe does which is also kind of informative, but you are not Yatzhe and you should be as funny is he is if you are going to bombard your viewers with those jokes like you did.

In any case, my expectation was to learn something about the game you didn't provide it much.

Ok, I've gone back to the drawing board a bit with this one, its for capsized, and hopefully it will be a little more informative and less advertise-y
