I want to achieve this look for my sprites Thread

Playing with Kawaks emulator I discovered what it calls bliters, which are some options to add some effects to the screen. One of these features smooths out the edges of the game's sprites and it it looks so convincing, you'd swear that was how they were drawn if you were to not know of it. This is what I mean:

I'm trying so hard to figure out how this look can be achieved but so far all my efforts have been in vain. I just can't figure out how to achieve this look. I have Paint.net and I can't seem to find a feature from the plugin that gives me like a hundred effects that will aid me. I was wondering if anyone here has any idea what this effect is and how I can achieve it.

Yes! That's what I needed! It never occurred to me that there could be a plugin for it. Thanks a bunch Fragvergnugen.

This seems like they might be using an improved anti-aliasing algorithm. Maybe looking into that might help you accomplish what you need want. Hope this helps.
