We have VCE wich is apart of high school, then straight onto Uni.

The college/uni system in America is very different to the English system.

We use the same words but they represent different institutions.

Unless you don't get a high enough ENTER to get into the course you want... then if you want to get into Monash you can sneak in through the back door if you have the money: a couple of years at Monash College and you're guaranteed a place in the course you want. So basically they're opening a back door so they can pump money out of people who didn't work hard enough to get in the legit way, effectively making it harder for the legit peeps to get a place.

I ended up there for a month and a half, and we ran out of money and there were no jobs. I kinda figured it would happen, so we just pretended like it was a long vacation.
