The Third Reich is a multiplayer World War 2 conversion for UT2004, aiming to create an immersive and fun Western Front game. With this update comes an unbelievable amount of new media, ranging from renders to in-game screenshots and even sound excerpts. As you will agree, our team has been hard at work to raise the exemplary level of quality of the whole TTR project. All of the aspects listed in this update demonstrate our commitment to quality and realism within the whole TTR experience. Sturmgeschütz III [View] The heavy machinery Sturmgeschütz originally served as an assault gun for infantry support and as a tank destroyer. M-38 Willy's Jeep [View] Of the roughly half million jeeps produced for WW2, Willys-Overland made about 360,000 between 1941 and 1945. The jeeps proved to be rugged and dependable in the war, and by the time the soldiers came home, jeeps were well known and loved for their durability and unstoppability. Very nicely modelled by CaD and skinned with an eye for detail by Seanboy. Spitfire MKIX [View] If you have watched the trailer you will have noticed a Spitfire flying circuits over the map. Its duties include patrol/interception, escort and light bombing. Train Boxcar [View] A standard train boxcar used to transport anything from material to men. These vehicles took a lot of damage both from nature and the enemy. You can see that this model has seen a lot of use. MK2 Fragmentation Grenade [View] The MK2 fragmentation grenade also referred to the "pineapple" grenade, is known for its large and heavy fragments which retain velocity over long distances and can cause severe wounds. Player Models [View Allied] [View Axis] Our player models are still a Work In Progress (WIP) but are already stunning. The attention to detail is excellent and will only improve. Also a little note for people who have decent digital camera's, currently we're looking for people who would like to see their face on one of our player models, if you'd like to have your face in TTR, then click here for details. Screenshots, Levels and Maps Last but not least is an astonishing amount of screenshots of various locations in the TTR world. These screenshots demonstrate our attention to detail and our attempt to recreate authentic environments. Here is a link to a sample of the fantastic sounds effects we have created for TTR (MP3 format). Positions on the Team We are always looking for talented and motivated people to join us on the TTR project. The positions we are looking to fill in the TTR Project are for Skinners, Mappers and Coders. People wanting to join must be willing to work as part of the overall TTR team and are asked to help us maintain the high level of quality already present in our work. Extras People who are registered on our forums get insider's information, exclusives, and a head start for when it comes to beta testing at a later stage. - Edited By Nash On Fri 12th, Mar 2004 @ 6:46:32pm |
