How to make a mod folder Thread

Hello, I recently started my mod and I'm having some problems making the mod folder. My mod is for Half-Life 1 and I want to use the spirit features. You can see the mod here --> Moddb.com . Can any one help me ?

you should first say what the problem is
il give a basic outline of setting up the mod folder tough

in that folder you create a file called liblist.gam (just use notepad and save as)
and put this in

game "your mod name"
url_info "your url to mod info here"
version "version number of the mod"
size "size of the mod in bytes"
svonly "server only switch 1/0"
cldll "1 if the mod requires a client.dll file"
hlversion "version number for half life"
type "if this is multiplayer_only then the new game buttons etc are greyed out in the main menu"
gamedll "location to the game dll file (if it doesent have one point this to the hl default dll in your mod folder (copy them)
startmap "the filename of the starting map when pressing new game"
trainmap "the location to the map when you press hazard course

this is about it
anything else then just ask

Ok, it works , but the icon doesn't show up in STEAM.

I made a TGA file of the icon, but in STEAM its over sized , now what ?

i tought it had to be 32x32 pixels in size(dimensions)

Yeah, I made it 32x32 hmm... Can you recomend me a program for making the icon ?

I used Photoshop and Paint draw the icon and then I used Fireworks to make it 32x32 . After that I opened it in Gimp 2 and saved it in "ico" format.

use tga, not ico
