Well, for one thing, 99.5% of mods don't pay anyone, they're a hobby. Number 2, any age person can work on a mod if they have skills. You'll need to be older to work in a commercial company.

Plus, they prob wouldn't take you into a commercial comapny unless you have been to uni and have a degree. Oh, and I'd say at least 20 or something before you can get in.

hmmm, well it sucks that i cant make money. But it would be nice to see my work on other games and i probably would still like to find out where to learn, but if its a school that i have to attend then i wont bother cause i have my own school which teaches some stuff about computer skills. and maybe i can find classes online which im sure would be better. but if you guys have tools for that kind of stuff then that would be great and i would like to know.

Well ... if you want a job working within the 3D industry, then I'd say your priority would be to develop traditional art skills, first and foremost. The computer is only a tool. There is also alot of emphasis on degree courses, well, yes ... these are useful but not entirely necessary. It is more likely that you will be judged on the quality of your show-reel than the university you attended. In the 3D industry there is less emphasis on qualifications, and more on the application of skills.
