q3a, hl is a mess from my experience, i.e. I went through alot of hurdles to get my freaking flamethrower coded . -- < insert subject games here >

quake 1 ownz.. seriously it is the only game i can go to again and again with ideas and succesfully implement them to my needs.. you'll need the code for it and some basic directory knowledge and youll be set.. |

HL has you deal with WON/Steam, crashes, and a horrible events system, and such things like critical protocol changes. Q3A don't have the above annoyances. Q3A is easier, but animating player models is the biggest effort taker of it. Anyone can rig anything as a player in HL and make a mod of it -- < insert subject games here >

Doom is quite easy to mod too. Sometimes can be a bit frustrating as it got some limits... With some advanced port you can have models in it too. |

Pokémon is quite easy to mod too. Sometimes can be a bit frustrating as it got some limits... With some seriously advanced ports (that you will have to make yourself) you can have models in it too. -- I'm not a hippy. I'm just a firm believer of peace originating from marijuana, long hair and mass amounts of flowers. |
