Hello again, so I realized a problem I have in level design is I rely on already made materials and static meshes. So I want to take the steps needed to learn how to create all custom content. I used a camera I have to try taking pictures of things like tiles or walls and editing them to work as textures but I found it really hard to make them even in photoshop, maybe it's my poor photoshop skills but I started thinking that's not how the pro's do it. I am familiar with the material editor, so I really just want to learn now how to create textures. For say, terrain, walls, tiles, water, etc. |

you already have the program that you need. photoshop (or some equivalent software) is 90% of texturing. for tutorials, try these: Still, texturing isn't a skill you can learn in few days, just like you can't become a good level designer in few days. Practice is necessary to achieve good results. |
