Help Thread

I'm trying to download a mod but it dose not work. It dosn't work for me if its a "Rar" file. I need some help on what to do with a "Rar" file. I have no problems with a Zip file.

When I download a Rar file this is what shows up.

When I click on it it dose the send error don't sent error thing. (windows XP) What do I do poeple?

i use winrar and winzip , well i have them both.. but i always extract with winrar

Thanks guys, I just got it and now i'm going to try it out.

i dun like winRAR, why not just use the industry standard compressed file? (.zip)

or better yet just use an exe installer

I got winRar to work but winzip is way better.

yeah, winzip works like a regular file

I only use winrar becouse the 'Extract Here' function.
And the SFX is way better.

I use WinRAR 100% of the time, and it's MUCH better than winzip, imo.

Those who diss WinRAR probably never heard or installed it :/

WinZIP can only extract ZIPS.

Rar can do almost everything.

win rar doesnt really like tars ive noticed though...

Winrar is teh best, and i like the extract here cmmand n stuff aswell... so smooth n stuff

winace doesnt compress stuff, it changes system stuff if im correct
