I am the lead of a new and upcoming mod called, Oblivion. We are currently working hard and designing the way the mod should be, since we are still in the begging of development ideas and comments will make a great contribution to the mod. You must be highly creative, cooperative, patient, and hard working, you must have a good grasp on 3ds max, or other modeling programs that are compatible with both 3ds max and Half Life 2, and to be enthusiastic to learn more and keep expanding your skills. On top of that you must be good at modeling either guns or characters; we are going for modern day mod, so the guns will take after modern guns. The characters will consist of Dinosaurs and other small creatures.

First of all, It'd be alot better if you presented yourself in English that surpassed third grade level, no offense.

Second, provide information and/or media.

You have to make people want to get interested, not just cross your fingers and hope someone will jump blindly into a brand new project lead by someone who has no experience.

In my opinion, it sort of sounds like you're going for Jurrasic Park/ Time Crisis, since you mentioned just using dinosaurs and what not....either that or Turok.

He doesn't need to provide media. He does need to provide a more detailed description though. By the way embers, you are trolling him, and Cyanide was providing advice.

i was criticising cyanide for insulting someone for something unfounded anyway.

I am not releasing much information about the story, simply because it is not complete, and posting inaccurate information is like false advertisement. I don’t want to mislead anybody from what the story is going to be, as for media; we do have some but are not releasing any to the public yet. Thats why you MAKE SOME to PRESENT to PEOPLE, whether its shit or not, it is HIS responsibility to present some form of work to show his ideas to the audience he is trying to convince.

I could care less if embers tries to call me names, it's rather entertaining.Apparently he doesn't grasp the concept that you need things to get people interested in your project, which he has been corrected by several other people.

You see, presenting a story is not what you call "false advertising".It's called "first draft".Everyone has them, and yes, they are subject to change.However, it's better to give people a general idea of what it's even about, otherwise the only people you're going to attract are amatuers and 12 year olds and then where will you be?

Media is also a helper, but seeing as though you're lacking in both categories, I'm surprised you still continue to withhold information.

You might think about presenting the story, or at least getting a mod profile.

I think the true misleading is all the bantering and slandering going on in this chat room, I appreciate the advice, but I have heard it all before. If you are not interested then don’t post, if you are then do, but please don’t try and give me training lessons on how to correctly recruit team members, and amateurs are fine with me.
