Ghosts Thread

This will be a mod about evil ghosts and if you're lucky you might see Casper nah.. just kidding.. just all kinds of ghosts. Normally you can't see them and they can't see us, but recently the Moon is glowing darker and the Saturn is in line with Mercury and Pluto is in 90 degree angle to Earth, so we can see them and they can see us, but really those planets' positions does not have anything to do with the ghosts, that's just what some apocalyptic fortune tellers say because suddenly you can see ghosts.

Some year after Black Death wiping out half of the Europe, ghosts appeared. They want to live again. They're trying to possess the living, but usually it ends up in madness or more death. People are terrified and they're banging the church doors:"Let us in! Help us!" The priests gone mad, they were not safe in there. The ghosts are immaterial beings and can go through the walls, roof, whatever. People are looking for witches to burn, but that does not help. The witches weren't really witches and they didn't call for the ghosts anyway.

Of course some people know how to deal with ghosts, otherwise we wouldn't be here now writing these stories about ghosts and about
how counterstrike sucks and why Doom is such a good game...

Now let's introduce you to Lord Ælfgar Osbearn Wulfheard, the hero of the game, the divine elf warrior, the protector of the wolves. He's got the knowledge to get the ghosts go back where they came from. He and 12 others like him must meet and join their powers to make the ghosts disappear from this part of the world. Now where would they meet? And where would Lord Ælfgar Osbearn Wulfheard be? He got a message, they should meet in the Unknown Place. It is located about 300km north from London. For Lord Ælfgar Osbearn Wulfheard it's a 233km journey then.

During the journey all kinds of stuff can happen. Lord Ælfgar Osbearn Wulfheard will go through couple towns and the townsfolk needs some help. Ok, so this Lord Ælfgar Osbearn Wulfheard will be helping the people during his journey and when he finally makes his way to the Unknown Place, the whole place is empty! Where are all the others? Now it's up to Lord Ælfgar Osbearn Wulfheard to get rid of the ghosts. And here ends this story now, I don't want to reveal everything.

All I really have to say is, if you're going to make a mod about ghosts, don't throw in elven warriors and all that fantasy crap.

There are no elfs in this mod. Or if there are, they're not elfs like in Middle Earth or some other fantasy world. And ghosts are anyway fantasy crap. The name Ælfgar Osbearn Wulfheard has some meaning, that's why you can call him divine elf warrior and the protector of the wolves.

Did the people in England have guns in around year 1348? I don't think guns will do anything to the immaterial ghosts. The bullets, rockets, whatever junk the gun fires, would just go through them.

Like I've said, Lord Ælfgar Osbearn Wulfheard knows how to deal with the ghosts. Yea, he's going to give each ghost 5 cards and play poker with them... Then he blames them for cheating and takes a minigun from his backpocket and ... NO he's not going to do anything like that. He has an ancient book full of secrets. He has a sword and a bow and arrows which are rather useless against the ghosts, but useful against the madmen.

so whats he gonna do against the ghosts? have magical spells? FPS based on spells suck

Who said it's a first person shooter? Maybe it is. Then what you want? You want an m16 and shoot the crap out of everyone on your street, but then you say that's sick, and continue playing counterstrike or whatever game that has the guns.

So, what do you think he should do with the ghosts if magic sucks? Maybe he should have a lasergun or superman lasereyes and suddenly he's a terminator and ghosts can't do anything for him, because he's not living and well... now this sucks.

I wish I could...........forget this thread that is.......that story is completly ludicris. I mean ghosts are cool and all but I dont think a game based around some elf guy meeting in a secret location 233km away from London equiped with weapons that dont hurt ghosts, and then I guess meeting his 12 freinds and hunting ghosts would be very immersive or belivable. Sorry dont flip out its just my opinion......but it sounds ridiculous.

He's not an elf. His fucking name means elf spear divine warrior protector of the wolves. Then where he should meet his friends? In London? Full of ghosts, nothing can survive in there. He did have the ancient book. In that time people had swords and if he's some lord, I'm sure he had a sword. Hunting ghosts isn't believable anyway, that's why they are not hunting ghosts. The ghosts are hunting them.

Actually the hero character is Kris Kringle and the 12 others are his little pixies and they're all going to dance merry go round the fucking christmas tree. Then they're all going to have a nice ass wanking and they're all fucking gays.

Ælfgar is a name. Ælf means Elf. He's an Elf. But he's not a real elf, just his name is Elf. He can be called an elf then. Do you have some fucking problem? Go fuck your mother then!
