Ahoy, I'm the new guy here :)

I've been trying to come up with a new type of gameplay because ive become pretty sick of the normal deathmatch games etc. So heres what ive come up with (im not sure whether or not it has been done before in a mod though):

The gametype is called "Timebomb" or something along those lines, and the objective is not to get blown up :) One player randomly spawns with a bomb in their hands, and has to pass it away to another player before it explodes.
The other players must avoid being given the bomb, by running away or possibly by knocking other players into the path of the carrier with some sort of weapon. The bomb timer is variable of course, and could even be random, and will be displayed on screen.
When the bomb timer runs out, the bomb explodes (killing the carrier, and possibly those around them) and a new round begins. The player with the least amount of deaths is the winner :)

Just an idea, but what do you think?

Games like that are just Bomberman variations which people would pay peanuts for.

As a mod, very nice idea.

I haven't come up with a proper solution for that yet. At first I thought you could pass by throwing at the enemy, but then theres the problem of missing and the bomb getting left on the floor etc.

Passing by touch is a much better solution, but it may be too hard to get close enough to touch the enemies. This part needs some more thought...

Another problem is that players could just wait with the bomb until the timer runs down and then quickly pass it on when its close to zero. Again I have not come up with a proper solution for this....

I agree, though I do think political correctness has gone insane. Its no worse than playing as a terrorist and planting a bomb on counter-strike in my opinion.
