Whats bad with DBZ mods? My ThunderCats mod its a DBZ-stile mod with Anime fliing mech robots and is cool (I think).

The DBZ gameplay its good.

It's one thing to be inspiried by DBZ, it's another to model a game right after it.

Actually, DBZ gameplay is downright horrible. DBZ doesn't really have any good, balanced gameplay at all.

In DBZ, you can either kill someone in one shot, or you can't kill him at all even with 10000 shots.

Humm... maybe you hare serius gamers. Me, and my friend have fun, in the past, playing the Quake3 DBZ mod. Anyway I dont know nothing about gameplay.

I think hate a game style (DBZ = energy battles with fliing capability) is lame, because ITS POSIBLE to have good and bad games with this stile, is not inherently bad dbz-style games, but some real implementatios where hated by some guys here.
