Final Fantasy XIII Thread

A new trailer was just posted a little over half an hour ago, featuring more elements of the story, including for the very first time, some great gameplay footage.

I think this really will be one of the better additions to the series. It looks like a mold between Kingdom Hearts and the classic Final Fantasy gameplay. The story and characters look appealing enough, and the music has that typical Nobuo Uematsu epic feel. I appreciate the fact that they decided that, instead of just giving us the Tokyo Game Show trailer from last year, this is an all new trailer showing a lot of new things. The only problem? It looks like due to the fact that it will also be on the Xbox 360, the game won't see the light of day here in the States (or any Western countries) until April 2010.

Revised combat system looks like a lot of fun, more of a traditional final fantasy battle system as apposed to FFXII. Too bad I'll have to buy a PS3 or X360 to play it though.

By the time the game comes out here, expect the Ps3 to be $250 and the Xbox 360 to be $150.
