Hey Guys! My names Peter, and im a Programmer.
I am currently working on my 3rd XNA project:


The Game
Exstatic is a Competitive 2v2 FPS.
The easiest way to describe it is to call it a homage to games such as: Counter strike 1.6, Timesplitters and Halo CE.
We want to embrace and explore games where the Gameplay was nailed perfectly!

Story/Background
Based in our current Century, the battlefield takes place in key "structures" in our world, power plants, museums and research facilites.
These grand stages hold place to an ongoing battle between two opposite groups; the Millitants vs Operatives.
An Unkown Millitant Group; fighting to find the truth between the bed of lies that the Government has built.
Special operatives; working for the Goverment, it is solely their job to contain this Millitant threat.

Art/Styling
The art approach we are going for in Exstatic, is a realistic one.
While we dont want to waste too many hours tweaking every pixel on a texture, we do want to create a style that is instantly recognisable as "realistic".

The Current Team & Project Plans
Youll be joining the Project alongside myself and Tom (Sound Artist).
We are looking at a development time of around 6 Months, and are planning to release the game this year onto the Xbox 360
via the XBLIG Marketplace.
Due to the nature and history of programs we are using, we are planning to go down the Open Development & Open Source Code route (example team Wolfire/Overgrowth).
So anyone applying should be comfortable with that we want to give back to the community! :)

The parts we need filling!
We are looking to fill all of our Artist Roles as quickly as possible, which are described below:

3D Animator
Like most games, all our characters will have the same Animations. From Weapon reloads to Jumps.
So we just need 1 set of Human based animations! Reloads,Walking etc etc
A history/understanding of XNA and its constraints might be usefull here, but we can easily provide that to you!
We are really looking for someone who can demontrsate quality, over quantity here.

3D Weapon Artist
We only have a handfull of Weapons in game, so its all the more important that each one is crafted beautifully!
Our set consists off: Pistol, Sniper, Shotgun and Assault Rifle.
4 Weapons to cover all ranges of Warfare :)
As with Character Artists, these weapons can have Normal Maps + a good amount of polys!

3D Prop Artist [requires .md3 export]
Only artists who are able to export to .md3 (Quake) files need to apply for this one.
Youll be tasked with the creation of all objects that really define a levels environment. If youve ever wanted to
create the marvelous center piece of a Level, then send that application!
Its going to be a lot of varied work, and really push to show your talents.

And thats it. a lot of roles that need to be filled :)

thanks man :D
ive just put up a few more right now, which might be a bit better. Although I have to say that 90% of the work is done by GTKRadiant and its awesome lighting algorythms!
