Error joining MODDB Thread

Hi there

I recently recruited 2 members for my team. These members are with me here at my work and we use the same IP
I believe to access the internet!

The Problem!!!
The first guy Joined and had no problem joining! His nickname is Smon! and had this email. e.g. (smon@hotmail.com)

The other guy tried to join, but couldn't!

He typed in his nick e.g. (switchblade123456), and his email address e.g. (switchblade123456@hotmail.com)
He then tried other names and different email addresses!

Everytime, it came back as "Smon has already taken this name and email!"

Do u think signing in from another location would work???
Failing that do u know what the problem could be???

Maybe all those names are actually taken?

I believe there's a bug in one or two versions of Firefox that have a habit of randomly storing and using details for no particular website, and insisting on filling forms in with them. That may be what you're suffering from; if you're using Firefox, try registering with explorer.

We don't let people register two accounts with the same IP. This is our way of battling multiple accounts, which we don't tolerate on ModDB.

Yes, try Internet Explorer or clearing your cache. That's all I can recommend, although you may need to use a different computer entirely.
