digital brutality: grappling hook Thread

ok this is actually more of pimping this amazing grapple hook Perecli Manole AKA Bort made for Quake 1.
but since my mod, digital brutality will have a grappling hook exactly like it, i think it qualifies.
(db grapple will be identical to this except that the pull speed will slower and the grapple flight when you shoot it will be a LOT faster)

and i also did the tricks myself. :]

Doesn't the hook decimate the players though? The first "morning star" hook did that

Yeah, really. But I don't get in the second video, when the hook is stuck on top of the beam, he starts, like, spinning in circles. Whats that all about?

its simple real-life physics. im swinging slowly at first, and then i pull myself up quickly a bit
and because of g-force, and the string attached to me, i start spinning around. :]
