Dead Years - open world zombie survival game Thread

Dead Years is a post-apocalyptic zombie survival RPG game, taking place in an open-world environment where urban and natural landscapes raise as the disappearing archetype of the human rule. In this epic adventure, you are bound to explore and understand this new world, where a new race of enraged zombies, as well as a sneaky pack of hungry wild beasts, unite in their flaming desire to devour you. However, you are not completely alone! By your side, a faithful friend – your dog - , will help you fight back, investigate and discover. Your wit, logic, concentration, agility and strength are the only guarantee for you both to survive.

Dead Years will be released in Summer 2014, and will be available for PC/Mac/Linux.

Reminds me a lot of a movie I saw recently, I Am Legend. I really like the idea with having a companion like a dog! Looking forward to see some gameplay vids on this.

Also, I encourage you to post some picture of the game when you do announcement posts like this, makes them a lot more interesting!

Reminds me Fallout in zombie world. It can be great game. Hope storyline will be also great. And hope demo version will be relased.

You'll be able to see some promo video, including game play, pretty soon actually. We're launching a Kickstarter campaign in the beginning of next week, so you can check it out! I'll keep you updated on that!
Story will be very important in the game. But we won't undermine the action and adventure elements:) An alpha will probably be released around May, and then beta in July, if everything goes well!
The doggy is pretty sweet, but then quite a warrior:)
