|Concept for 3PS/Adventure Game||Locked|

I have been working on several ideas for a 3rd Person Shooter with Adventure mechanics involved.
So the working back story as of now is, in a nut shell:
Pre-WW2 several of the Allies and Axis experienced falling outs and grouped together causing certain key players in the war to swap sides i.e. Japan and Russia.
And other countries, such as Egypt and Sicily, to become key players.
After the Allies won the war they gave the land of the Axis to members of the Allies.
The Eastern Side of the Globe, Middle East over, turned on the Western Side of the Globe, Americas to the Middle East.
The Eastern Eurasian Empire and The United Western Empire.
During the war the UWE, searching for a more renewable and powerful power source, discovered an Element known as Victorium.
They then proceeded to bomb the HQ of the EEE.
The EEE then acquired, through malicious means, the technology and knowledge of Victorium.
They then proceded to bomb a city built in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean called, surprise surprise, Atlantis.
The bomb sank Atlantis and burned through the crust of the Earth releasing some of the mantle into the ocean.
Thus creating a new, barron continent to be called New Eden consisting mainly of Victorium.
The war was put on hold to explore this new, resource ridden land.
People would return from New Eden deathly ill and would be signed into ICUs for months until they either died or made a full, miraculous recovery.
It was later reported that people that had made said full recoveries had aquired strange abilities ranging from super strenght to invisibility.
A few years later a French scientist brought back a sample of 'water' from New Eden.
The 'water' turned out to be pure liquid Victorium.
The people whom had aquired powers where called EDENs.
Through a near unanimous fear of a superior race the UWE and EEE came together as the New World Kingdom.
The war between the UWE and EEE suddenly became a war between the Humans and the EDENs.
Jump to the present
I ask for 100% honest feedback.
Thank you for your time.

MY first bit of advice is to lose the center alignment next time. It's not bad, but it's something to use in moderation.
It sounds like X-Men. I hate to say it, but it sounds a heck of a lot like X-Men. Super-powered beings, mutants, fighting for their survival against a hostile, bigoted, fearful humanity? To my mind, that's pretty much a dead-ringer for X-Men.
But tell us, what would the game be like? What kinds of mechanics are you thinking of? Would it be fast-paced? Stealth-based? A run-n-gun game? Would these powers you mentioned play a role in the game, or are these simply informed attributes that are simply character fluff? If so, what kinds of roles? That kind of thing. You don't have to tell us everything, but we can't comment on a game idea if all you give us is the background setting.
I snark, therefore, I am.

In response, I was thinking that the game would be fast-paced yet the player would have the choice to play more stealthily or more aggressively. The powers would play a major role in the game in the form of strategic or offensive powers such as exploding a fire extinguisher to damage an enemy or distract a group, freezing an enemy in order to get in extra damage, or freezing a river to create a bridge. Mechanics would be ranged from climbing over small barriers to hacking into a private party. In retrospect I do see the large similarity to X-Men, which for some reason I did not see.
