Hi there. I'm looking to recruit a Coder to help create a Blender plugin for me

I'm mostly looking to get plugins for older Lithtech engine games such as Shogo, Blood 2, No One Lives Forever and others. The model format for these games was .abc. I'm not aware of how well documented these formats were however the source codes to some of these games were released. They also had plugins for very old modelling programs like Softimage 3D. I also have access to a spec someone made about it

I'm willing to pay for the creation of these plugins if necessary via Paypal. I just want to create models for some of these games without using a very outdated program to do it. The only alternative currently is milkshape and it lacks support for importing with animations

If interested either PM me here, post in the thread or email me at canadianenigma@outlook.com. Thanks

Hey there, I'd be interested in taking this on. I have plenty of experience converting models from old games to newer formats and software. For example, I was able to decipher the PlanetSide 2 model format (even with no specification available). Here's a video demonstrating it at work (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkJuEbv_viE) I have years of programming experience working in games both professionally and as a hobby, and would love to take on a little side-project.

I prefer to use Discord. You can find me on there as Colin Basnett#0827.

Update:

The plugin I asked for is almost complete. It can be found here

We're currently looking for someone experienced with Blender scripting to help us to implement animation support.
