Naw, it's worse than the Source Engine. Look at the shadows. Graphics don't really look that amazing compared to whats been coming out lately. Edited by: RatoN |

Those shadows are a joke. The Source engine's shadows are better, but they're still pretty pants. Proper stencil shadows rule. -- Defeat in Detail 2 - Standalone RTS Game |

It looks like they're all dancing in a group. I don't think this title will be that successful. I'll wait for Mr. Stubbs, thank you very much. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

you all suck. arnt u the bunch that said graphics dont make the game? mabey you havnt seen the George Romano movies then.... if you have, then you would be pissing your pants. sure there will be lots of zombie slaying. but to escape an army of zombies, you will need to use lots of thinking and strategy, just like in the movies. No we don't; we're just not easily hypable over an average game on a popular subject. It almost looks like it's been done in FPScreator. Edited by: leilei -- < insert subject games here >

too right graphics don't make a game, but this doesn't look like it has anything new and probably hardly any playability at all. The gameplay (fighting an army of zombies) is the most unoriginal theme in gaming and there would be too much repetition. All that, and it doesn't even have sweet graphics |

have any one of you seen the series? |

By the sounds of things you certainly haven't seen them. If you had, you'd know that the director is called George Romero. Pwned. Yes, I have seen the movies; I even have Night of the Living Dead on DVD. They are classics of the genre, mostly due to suspense and helplessness. Blowing away hundreds of zombies in the street has nothing to do with any of the films. There is nothing scary about it, it's just yet another shoot-anything-that-moves fps. -- Defeat in Detail 2 - Standalone RTS Game |

Ive seen all the romero movies, and this still doesnt look very good. Thinking and tactics, fine, but if thats not implemented then how can you do it? from these whole 3 screens, we can see very little ecept that there is lots of zombies and no variation. But this is only a couple of screenshot and we can tell not a whole lot. But we what are being told by these shots is that the game will be repetetive. Like i said, things can change. Personaly, i always like resident evil for zombie games, Resi Rules -- OH NO! OUR SNACKS, RETREAT!!! And then my master flew to the moon, in a rocket of FLAMING CHEESE!! I LIKE CHEESE!!!! |

think of DOOM, it only had what, 7? different enemies, not even seven types of enemies, just seven ENEMIES. is DOOM repetetive? not really, because the level design/texture wasn't trying to be realistic so it could be varied and interesting, the levels could have interesting puzzles/traps. -- teamgames are for those who want to blame their losses on others. Play deathmatch you wuss. |

i think doom had about 12 enemies (one of which you couldnt see ) and doom 2 brought a few more, but yeah, you have a good point there. (i think there was pistol dude, shotty dude, chaingun dude, varient pistol dude, imp, lost soul, pinkie, invisible pinkie, cacodemon, cyberdemon, cyberspider, cyberspider boss) I think those are correct i dont think chaingun guy was doom2, i could be wrong. I dunno if you were couting bosses either. -- OH NO! OUR SNACKS, RETREAT!!! And then my master flew to the moon, in a rocket of FLAMING CHEESE!! I LIKE CHEESE!!!! |

12? I got up to gun man, shotgun man, imp, daemon, howling skull, cacodaemon, those tall dudes (forget their names) -- teamgames are for those who want to blame their losses on others. Play deathmatch you wuss. |
