Cat Life, Half-Life (mini)mod. Thread

Hey there!

Recently we've announced that we're working on a new singleplayer mod for Half-Life: Cat Life. We've got mappers, modelers and skinners so far. Only thing we need now is a coder! And maybe some sound dude.. for cat sounds

About:
Your Ernest, one of the Black Mesa scientists. The story takes place at the same time the aliens invaded the Black Mesa. Anyway, you find a couple of scientists that tell you they have some sort of new device that can make CATS into very aggresive monsters. So what you think? Well, it's human-friendly! So in fact, the cats will protect the scientists! Well that was too good to be true, because the experiment fails and everything explodes. After a while you find yourself standing infront of a mirror...

Argh! You turned into a half cat, half human thingy!
Now it's your quest to escape the Black Mesa with your new (cat-ish) skills

I can't give any more info, we're still planning things out.
And we will change the story a bit later on..

wow cant wait to play this mod it will be awesome! i love comical mods!

Not as much replies as I expected but...its good to see someone can't wait for it to be released

Now for that coder... without it we can't do anything special.

Well my two cats don't make any sound at all whatsoever...

I had my microphone with me and waited half an hour for those damn cats to say anything. So please, if you can record mieauw (miw, mew, whatever) sounds then please!!!

Why is it so damn hard to find a coder?

Aren't there any coders free? Any released mods that won't require the coder anymore?

It's hard to find a coder because all the "poser coders" only have internet access from school.

Or, the coders are off making bad DBZ mods htat will go nowhere.

They wont like the idea, they are to mature and only like Serious mods

If I remember correctly, they don't do help requests.

they wont support comical mods (they ignore every news submission i have sent)

the only sense of humour they have is being able to accept a comical picture to put on the front page everyday

Or having a dumb star wars character replace everything
