That's because a games admin edits the game after the authorization iirc. You can't do it because it is not your game.
This nicely provides security and such as say someone leaving moddb forever then defacing the profile and ruining every mod associating to it.

I'm sorry, but in fact I'm one of the only dudes doing something for that game, since the company which developed it did disappear.
I wanted to allow users add their contents to it again and change the description, plus perhaps add additional stuff.
I'm not one of those who would ruining others, I wanted to allow others to add their media and stuff, but perhaps ppl leave or never join because they can't add their stuff to their games.

I mod for this game too and would love to be able to add mods/addons for it.

you can, when you start a profile for your mod just select this game as the game it is based off and it will all intertwine.. thats how moddb works

I don't recall Activision ever transferring their Elite Force franchise rights of a game towards some random modder. Either way, because you're modding it and the company is 'gone' doesn't mean it's your game profile to promote what you made for it. When we have game profiles here we tend to maintain them with utmost relevancy to the game with no bias for a particular modification.

firstly, thanks for helping - the profile is looking great.

The way it works, is whoever is linked as the "developer" has control of the games profile. However members can still add movies, images, articles, downloads etc - so we recommend you do that. If you wish to change the games description or details, please contact me or someone at ModDB for help
