I am an aspiring developer. I just earned my Bachelor's in Game and Simulation Programming this past June. I am hoping to put a development team together to develop a solid ARPG, which is tentatively titled Flesh Asunder. I am naming the development team Fledgling Studios. For those that are curious, my credentials include:

*18 years of gaming experience.
*10 years of modding experience. I started off creating maps for Duke Nukem 3D, and have developed several small mods (mostly for personal use) for Torchlight, Fallout 3, Doom 3, Dawn of War, and a few others.
*A solid understanding of certain design decisions and balancing when it comes to games.

If I had to describe the concept of Flesh Asunder in a sentence, I would say it is Diablo with Hellgate:London influences and a visual style not unlike The Book of Eli (great film by the way). If things go as planned, there will be skill trees, tons of loot, semi-random dungeons, a crafting system, zombies, and much more. It will be developed using the UDK.

I have begun laying groundwork for Flesh Asunder. I would really like to have a proof of concept up and running within a month's time. So far (largely by modifying tutorials), I have:

*Programmed a basic experience/leveling up system.
*Leveling up increases the player's maximum health.
*The player's health is restored (to the new max) upon leveling up.
*Health regenerates slowly over time.
*With the help of a programmer here on MODDB, I am trying to get a stat system up and running.
*Started a WIP Game Design Document.

I am looking for experienced, talented individuals from all areas of game development. I would prefer a portfolio and/or a resume of some kind. Please apply at
Fledgling Studios. I look forward to hearing from all of you.

Just a quick update for everyone. What we need more than anything else right now are modelers and texture artists.
